Up to 5 hours. All setup and takedown time is done separately to this. For most typical wedding evenings, I would recommend that 4 hours DJ/dancing time is enough.

I am not an agency and therefore do not employ other DJs, so I will always attend as the DJ for your wedding or other function. This allows me to maintain high standards on the night itself, as well as providing you with a personal contact in the build-up to the evening.

I always carry a second source of music ready to switch to at short notice should an unexpected problem arise.

I use the latest LED technology to give you an amazing lightshow for the evening. The lighting is controlled, so we are able to switch the mood throughout the evening, from a classic look for your first dance, to a nightclub feel later on in the evening.

I will always try to turn up 2 hours before the due start time, and setup takes an hour. If an event is local I can sometimes setup in the daytime.

Of course, I can make all announcements throughout the evening, and supply a microphone for the use of personal speeches from the happy couple if they so wish.

I will do my best to accommodate your guests’ requests on the night itself, as long as they fit in with your agreed choices and styles of music. During our first meeting together one of the most important things is your music choices; it’s your special day after all. I will always play as many of your choices as possible within the context of the mood of the evening itself.

In the extremely rare event of an emergency where I am unable to attend (which has so far never happened), I would ring a network of DJs in the HDJA which is a close group of professionals that can entertain you and your guests.

YES, I absolutely insist on it, we can arrange a FREE no obligation meeting to discuss your requirements and expectations for your special occasion. Either at the venue to discuss access and set up needs, how to manipulate the space as effectively as possible giving you the best that I can or another place of your choosing. I think that it’s very important that we meet.

A contract will be drawn up as soon as you are happy to book me. This will detail full information about the celebration. It is returnable with booking deposit within 14 days.

Bookings are confirmed after payment of a deposit of 25%. The balance can be paid anytime, but must be paid in full at least 30 days before the event date.

Yes I have the relevant PAT test certificate (Portable Appliance Tested) and also Public Liability to the value of 10 million, These are both required by law so please check that the entertainer you choose has these.

I will be dressed casually during set up and removal of my equipment, but will be dressed in black suit and white shirt ready for the beginning of your evening. Or as discussed in our FREE no obligation meeting.

I am willing to travel to most counties surrounding Hampshire, but will discuss this during our initial meeting on costs.
